Checklist for Planning a Girls Birthday Party

July 20, 2015 by Gabriella Diesendorf Leave a Comment

girls birthdayBirthday parties and celebrations are always special, especially when you are organizing them for your little girl.

Brace yourselves, though, you’ll be handling a bunch of ecstatic kids whose life mission, it will seem, will be to touch everything, scream as loudly as possible, and laugh until tears come to their eyes.

To throw an amazing and unforgettable party for your little girl, think about many things and be prepared in advance. Start on time and make a checklist so you don’t forget anything.

Choose a party theme

Children love playing games and pretending they are someone else. They love detectives, explorers, princesses, superheroes, and so on. When you are throwing a party, think about making it special, have it follow a story, a cartoon, or a game, and have all the kids included.

Once you have chosen the theme, it is time to start planning the rest.

Details and big decisions

Place and time of the celebration are incredibly important. It is understandable if you want your little girl’s party to happen on her birthday, but what if it is in the middle of the work week?

It is easier for you and the guests to organize and show up if you have the party on a weekend, so take into account guests, working hours, and location as well.

It may be cheaper to have the party at your house, but the stress and time needed to put everything in order may change your mind.

Buy or DIY party decorations

Of course, decorations will have to match the theme of the party, so you will know pretty much what you need in advance.

Luckily, there are so many tutorials online for making your own decorations. On the other hand, if your ideas are complex or you’ve already seen the decorations you like, go ahead any buy what you need.

Your kids will love all the flags, party hats, and balloons no matter where they come from.

Glamor and magic

We all know what little girls are crazy about: fairy princesses! There is something about princesses in general. They love Elsa and Anna from Frozen. They are in love with Rapunzel. When they grow up, they want to be Ariel.

Fairy princesses are special. Their magical powers make them more exotic, and their sweet and gentle nature makes them lovable. If fairy princesses are something your little girl would love to see on her birthday, make her dream come true and have a fairy princess attend her birthday party.

Fairy Princess Parties is an agency which has a lot of wonderful fairy princesses who would be more than willing to show up.

When everything is set and the party is at its peak, you will probably be a bit jealous of all those kids having so much fun, happy about something so simple such as pretzel sticks magic wands.

Have your camera ready, but don’t forget to put it aside from time to time and have fun yourself. After all, it’s wonderful to be a child once more.
