Flower Feng Shui: Beauty and Grace in Your Home

October 13, 2014 by Ariel Bellamy Leave a Comment

Feng shui is an art of balancing the right elements so that you channel all needed energy where they are supposed to go. And people who understand flowers will also know that flowers are a universal language and that their interpretation and meaning is unique.

Flower feng shui incorporates the same idea, arranging flowers in a way that will evoke the feelings of beauty, grace and sensuality.

It is always best to bring live flowers into your home as part of feng shui. However, even strong images of flowers will be frequently used in flower feng shui.

The peony

If you are looking for a cure in your love life, or if you just want to spice up your romantic energies, then peony is the best choice for that. It is the most sensual flower, with a delicious scent that is guaranteed to get the mojo flowing.

The peony is often considered as a symbol for female beauty. But you have to be careful. A flowering peony or an image of it can really heat up emotions and feelings, and it is better to use it with caution so that it will not stir up any affairs.

The lotus

The lotus flower is the symbol for perfection and purity. Moreover, in Chinese medicine it is used as a medicinal ingredient, thus making the lotus a perfect symbol for health and harmonious life in your home.

Cherry blossoms

Whether it is cherry, apple, dogwood or peach blossoms, they all represent the same symbol in feng shui, and that is new beginnings. Most often, these images are used for love and marriage, making them last longer. Moreover, some feng shui masters use these images to cure certain health issues. Nevertheless, blossoms will surely make any home feel more welcoming, and it will fill you up with energy.

The orchid

The orchid is considered a symbol for fertility, and it brings the energy of untrained natural symmetry and a symbol for attaining perfection. Not only that. It has a strong symbolism in beauty, purity and spiritual growth as well. If you want to get orchid flowers for your home, it is best to visit a local flower shop, or to order the flowers online.

Combining orchids with the other floral elements, your home will surely be channeling all the energies you need to be successful and happy in your life.

The narcissus

Even though the narcissus is usually understood as a flower for self-obsessed people, it cannot be further from the truth. The structural energy of the narcissus flower is believed to bring good fortune in one’s career, developing talents or abilities. It is most often used as a cure for people who suffer in career advancement.

The white narcissus is more often used for career cure than the yellow one. However, you cannot go wrong with either choice, not only will your career flourish, but your home will be nice as well.
