Wow!
That was the only word I could utter when I read a comment that landed a place in my inbox for moderation. Onepackguy wrote: “Hi! I just want to say that you’ve won an award.”
Really now?
I hastily checked the link that accompanied the comment. I didn’t know what “liebster” meant, so I had to read on. As it turned out, according to the post, “liebster” is a Greek word for “favorite.”
Further research showed another blogger who received the same award defining “liebster” as a German word for “friend” or “love.”
Wow … again!
So unlike the first time I blankly stared at it, not knowing what in the world it stood for, the Liebster Blog badge this time stared back at me, and then I had to smile.
- Now it’s my turn to spread that smile. As per the Liebster Blog mechanics, I have to:
- thank the sender by linking back to him/her
- select 5 bloggers to award the Liebster Blog to
- the bloggers’ followers should be less than 200
